…..ARIBO CHARGES WORKERS TO DO THEIR WORK WITH THE FEAR OF GOD
Ondo State Commissioner for Agriculture and Forestry, Mr. Olayato Aribo has charged workers in the Ministry to carry out whatever duties assigned to them with the fear of God so as to get better reward from God and government.
The Commissioner stated this while leading management and the entire staff of the Ministry to appreciate God for the privilege to witness a new year and to commit activities of the year into God’s hand.
He urged civil servants to see what they are doing as a God given duty and do it with all heart. He quoted Colossians chapter 3 verse 23 to buttress his assertion.
Mr. Aribo implored the workers to add more value to the system by redoubling their efforts through dedication and commitment to duties.
He used the meeting to appreciate workers for the support he got in the last one year as a Commissioner and called more for cooperation for the betterment of all.
He, therefore, enjoined all civil servants working with the Ministry to continue to exhibit values and ethics guiding their duties
Earlier, in his sermon, Pastor Abayomi Fadipe of Deeper Life Bible Church admonished civil servants to work with God by beginning the year with God through setting goals that are measurable.
Pastor Fadipe charged them to have the fear of God by doing the right things, stressing that there is consequence on every action, as everyone shall be judged with their deeds at the end.
The man of God advised workers to value integrity in whatever they do and seek God’s face at all times, noting that prosperity is from God and as child of God, you do not have to do illegal activities to prosper.
Prayers were offered for Ondo State and Nigeria, especially for the forthcoming general elections.
The first and second bible readings were taken by the Permanent Secretary, Mr Edward Tubosun Ogunmola and the Administrative Secretary, Barr. David Adesina.
