The ondo state government has shifted the midterm break for the second term of 2023 academic session of public and private schools in the state.
Akindele Ige, the director, School Services of the ministry of education, Science and Technology stated this in a statement issued to all schools in the state, on behalf of the state government.
The statement titled ‘Adjustment In The School Calendar For Second Term Of 2023 Academic’ says “Kindly note that the Mid-Term Break for the Second Term of 2023 Academic Session, earlier slated for Friday, 17th February or Monday 20th February, 2023, has been rescheduled as follows: New date: Friday, 24th February, 2023.
Resumption date : Monday, 27th February, 2023.
“The decision was necessitated by the forthcoming elections, scheduled to commence on Saturday, 25th February.
“Please, ensure compliance and give the content of this Circular the widest publicity it deserve”.
