Ondo state governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, has called on residents of the state to vote massively for candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu made the call at the Ondo North senatorial district campaign rally held at Methodist primary school field Owo, Ondo state.
The state governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu said the rally will be a strong signal to the people that Ondo north is for APC, and nothing distracts the party from winning massively in the forthcoming elections.
He then proceeded to present the party’s candidates in the zone to include, Pastor Jide Ipinsagba- Senatorial Candidate for Ondo North, Tunji Ojo Bunmi- member of House of Representatives candidate for Akoko North East, North West federal constituency, Oluwole Emmanuel Ogunmola- member house of assembly Owo constituency among others to the people present at the rally.
Governor Akeredolu urged the people to vote for the candidates, saying that they have the capacity and competence to bring quality representation to the people in Ondo north.
On his part, the Senatorial Candidate for Ondo North, Pastor Jide Ipinsagba promised to ensure quality representation if elected.
Speaking earlier at the rally, the state Chairman of APC, Ade Adetimehin said the party remains formidable ahead of the 2023 elections.
Some of the Leaders who spoke at the rally to include Deputy Governor, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa; Secretary to the State Government, Princess Oladunni Odu; Chief Olusola Oke; enjoined the people to elect all candidates of the party in the forthcoming polls.
The party’s flag was then presented to all candidates of the party in the district.
