Ondo Health Workers applaud emergence of Sunday Adeleye as NLC National VP

The Medical and Health Workers’ Union of Nigeria, MHWUN, Ondo State chapter, has celebrated the emergence of Comrade Sunday Adeleye Oluwole as the National Vice President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, during the recently concluded 13th National Quadrennial Delegates Conference of the Congress in Abuja.

In a Congratulatory Message, the State Chairman of the Union, Comrade Adesuyi Oluwasegun Ajiboye, said the election of Comrade Adeleye did not come as a surprise to health workers in Ondo State considering his antecedent as a dutiful, cerebral, vibrant and active labour leader.

Comrade Ajiboye noted that “Our leader, Comrade Sunday Adeleye has demonstrated over the years that he is competent to serve Nigerian workers at the national level, having served meritoriously in Ondo State in different capacities. We are not surprise with his emergence as the NLC National Vice President.

“Our prayer at Ondo State Chapter of the Medical and Health Workers’ Union of Nigeria, MHWUN, is that God will continue to endow Comrade Adeleye with wisdom, physical strength, ability and grace from God to enable him to deliver alongside other new national leaders of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC led by Comrade Joe Ajaero.”

The MHWUN Chairman expresses the belief that Comrade Adeleye’s huge wealth of experience in labour issues would assist him to deliver in his new national assignment. “Congratulations once more our great Ambassador.”
