MHA polls: Ondo Gov’s SA, Falana drums support for 4 female candidates, hails Tinubu’s victory

Ahead of the House of Assembly polls by 11th March, the Special Adviser on Gender, Olamide Falana urges electorates to vote along Gender lines in favor of the few women contesting across the state.

In her words, the number of women who scaled the hurdles of obtaining party tickets is few hence electorates must support them to ensure Gender representation in the 10th assembly.

The candidates in APC include; Princess Hanah Omowunmi Fayemi in Ilaje constituency 2, Princess Tosin Ogunlowo in Idanre, Mrs Morenike Whiterspoons in Owo constituency 2 and Mrs Bukunmi Akeju in Akoko SW constituency 2.

She emphasised the essence of gender representation which will give women a voice in the assembly as well balance the polity.

Falana congratulates the Governor of Ondo state, Arakunrin Odunayo Akeredolu for his progressive leadership which has led to APC landslide victory across the state as well as at the presidential polls. As well congratulates teb President-elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his victory at the presidential elections.

Olamide Falana expressed hope of good turnout at the March 11th polls stating that the assembly elections is equally important hence voters should turn out to vote massively for all APC assembly hopefuls.
