The House of Assembly member-elect for Ondo State House Of Assembly Idanre Constituency, Princess Tosin Ogunlowo- Ajirotutu has congratulated Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu on the approval of the Seaport for the state by President Muhammadu Buhari.
She described the development as a great economic prospect for the state that would shore up the financial strength of the state.
Princess Tosin noted that the Araromi Deep seaport would also impact on the livelihood of the people of the state and host community.
The first female lawmaker from Idanre constituency said it was the resilience of the governor in ensuring the state is industrialized that yielded the approval of the Seaport by the president.
According to her, “I am seizing this medium to appreciate His Excellency, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu on the approval of the Araromi Deep Seaport by President Muhammadu Buhari.
“No doubt, it is the consistency and resilience of the governor in his drive to ensure Ondo State becomes an industrial hub that made it possible for President Buhari to approve the seaport.
“This is a welcome development and it will help the state financially and have tremendous impact on the lives of the people of our state and the people of Araromi.
“When the project starts, many of our people, both men and women would be engaged by the companies and firms that will work at the Seaport.
“This is will be on records that it happened to us during Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu’s administration as the governor of Ondo State.”
