Count me out of anti-party Allegation against Ex-Dep Gov Oluboyo —Joseph Tosin

An Aide to the lawmaker representing Akoko Northeast/Northwest federal constituency and a Chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Pius Joseph Tosin has described as malicious, untrue, and unfounded the allegation that he levelled an anti-party allegation against a former Ondo State deputy governor, Alhaji Lasis Oluboyo.

Joseph Tosin in a Press Statement, said he never commented on Oluboyo before the 2023 General Election Review Committee chaired by Hon Ganiyu Adejoro.

The House of Reps members Aide also described as laughable that he is not an indigene of Ikare Akoko, saying he is a bonefide native of Ilepa in Ikare Akoko

The Executive members and the entire members of APC in Ikado Ward one, Akoko North East Area, had alleged that the post emanated from Mr. Pius Joseph Tosin (S.A to Bunmi Tunji-Ojo MHR, Representing Akoko North Federal Constituency) who is not from Akoko North East Local Government as falsehood, untrue, unfounded and substantiated, a complete hand works of blackmailers.

However in a Press statement made available to newsmen, Mr.Pius Joseph Tosin said, “Subsequent to my alleged involvement in mentioning the names of former deputy Governor that he involved himself in anti-party activities during the last electioneering campaign to the offices of National Assembly and President, I want to use this medium to bodly and unequivocally debunk the allegation of former deputy Governor Alhaji lasisi Oluboyo levelled against me (MR.PIUS JOSEPH TOSIN) that such a gesture is to use the avenue to malign me politically.

“I have therefore summoned courage not to submit my self to any form of act of character assassintion from any notable politicians irrespective of any position they might occupy.

“I want to advise the good people of Akoko North East local government who are committed members of the APC to shun politics of acrimony, bitterness, coupled with politics of destructive criticism that will demean our integrity in the scheme of things thereby leading to politics of backwardness.

“Finally it’s very debilitating and irritating for mentioning my names that I’m not an indigene of Ikare Akoko which sounds so ridiculous and laughable. For record I was born and brought up in Ilepa Ikare Akoko;

“So constitutionally, I can’t be deprived of my right and privilege to whatever anything I’m entitled to politically in this local Government and I have been contributing in no small measures towards the progress and development of our party, our community and Akoko North East local Government area,” Pius Tosin.
