The Special Adviser to the Ondo State Governor on Community Development, Hon Kolawole Babatunde, has congratulated a famous Constitutional Lawyer, incurable Human Right Activist and unrepentant apostle of an egalitarian society, Barrister Kayode Ajulo, PhD, on the conferment of a National Honour of Member of Order of Niger, OON, on him by the immediate past President, Muhammadu Buhari.
In a Press Statement made available to newsmen in Akure, the State capital, Hon Kolawole who represented Akoko South-East/South-West in the House Representatives between 2015 and 2019, pointed out that the honor is well-deserved considering his contribution to nation building, knowledge and mankind in general.
The former Federal lawmaker who is a kinsman of Dr Ajulo, commended Buhari for the national award which would encourage the recipient to do more for the country.
Hon Kolawole said “In my own judgment, aside from those infrastructural legacies of the former President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, many of which are highly commendable.
“But his parting gift to one of our brightest minds in Ondo State, Akoko land and Our home town Ifira Akoko in particular. A Constitutional Lawyer, incurable Human Right Activist, unrepentant apostle of an egalitarian society, an Astute political Analyst and a prolific writer, Barrister Kayode Ajulo, PhD on your conferment of National Honour of Member of Order of Niger, OON.
“Of course, the honor is well deserved, given your contribution to nation building, knowledge, and mankind.
“Your periodic literature, especially grand opinions on salient national issues, consistent publications, and analysis on political matters, had formed some actionable documents for many public office holders in recent times.
“Importantly is your contributions to youth emancipation and agitation for a better and safer society that has liberated several minds and refocused them on the part of grateness.
“It’s my hope that this honor will inspire you more for a grater contribution to our country, Ondo State and Akoko Land.
“I am indeed proud of your accomplishments my good brother and a friend. My heartiest congratulations,” Hon Kolawole Babatunde said.
