Eid-el-Kabir: Jimoh Ibrahim Congratulates Muslims, Calls For Citizens’ Patience

The Senator representing Ondo South and billionaire business mogul, Dr. Jimoh Ibrahim on Wednesday congratulated the Muslim faithful on the occasion of Eld-el-kabir celebration.

He charged them to embrace the teachings of the Islam be strriving for peace, love and unity in the country.

Senator Ibrahim stated that the citizens need to work for peace and unity of the nation by showing love for one another irrespective of their religious beliefs and political affiliations.

He also called for patience on the part of the citizens with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his efforts to rescue the nation’s economy from total collapse.

Ibrahim assured that some of the newly introduced economic policies of the governmenti would take some period for the impact to manifest.

According to him, “I want to seize this medium to rejoice our Muslim brothers and sisters in Ondo State on the Salah celebration.

“It is important to appeal to them to embrace peace, love and unity for goo coexistence of all citizens irrespective of their religious or political affiliations.

“Looking at our current socio-economic systems, it is important for us to be patient with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in his strive to put the nation on good footings.

“Economic policies are not magic wands, it requires some periods for the targets of such policies come to manifestation. So, citizens are expected to be calm and cooperate with the government to implement such policies for the betterment of all.

“I want to assure you that before long our economy will take shape judging by the policies roles out so far by President Bola Tinubu.”
