Indigenes of Ondo West and Ondo East local government areas in the Ondo State Local Government Service have paid a Congratulatory visit to the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Olamide Oladiji on his recent emergence as the number three citizen of the State.
The LG workers under Ekimoguns In Ondo State Local Government Staff were led on the visit last Sunday by the State Deputy President of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Comrade Fredrick Akinrinlola and some top Heads of local governments.
Speaking on behalf of the Ekimoguns, Comrade Akinrinlola said the people of Ondo Kingdom are proud of Rt Hon Oladiji who is popularly known as “LANDMARK” for being the first from the two local government areas to emerge the State Speaker.
The LG Workers promised to continue to pray and support the Speaker, urging him not to disappoint Ekimogun people in his new responsibility.
In his remarks, the Speaker of Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Olamide Landmark Oladiji, received the members of the Ondo Ekimogun Local Government Staff who were at his residence for the congratulatory visit as part of their activities lined up to celebrate his emergence as the Speaker of the 10th Assembly.
Oladiji vowed that the Assembly under his watch would place top priority on the welfare of their constituents, appreciating the workers for their support for his reelection into the House and subsequent emergence as the Speaker.
