The umbrella body of the Ondo State Artisan Group (OSAG) under the leadership of Comrade Daisi Komolafe has led members of the group on a prayer Session for Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, CON held at the State Secretariat of the association on Monday.
During the event, special prayers were offered for Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and the cabinet members.
The Governor who is on medical vacation abroad for undisclosed ailment necessitated the prayers from well-wishers and citizens across the state praying for the governor’s quick recovery.
Speaking, the State President of OSAG, Comrade Komolafe implored citizens of the State to always remember the governor in their prayers.
He also said it is important to commit Ondo State into God’s hand, noting that the government of Arakunrin Akeredolu in the last six years is unprecedented.
His words: ” Mr Governor is not a machine and if he falls sick, what is require of us as good citizens is to pray for his quick recovery. We are anxiously waiting for the arrival of the governor back to his seat so that he can continue his good work”.
He thanked members of the association for their impressive turnout at the prayers session, adding that the only thing the governor needs from them at this critical time is fervent prayers and support.
Present at the prayer service are State President of OSATU, Comrade Akarakiri, State Chairman of Tailor Association of Nigeria, Pastor Ale, State Chairman of Carpenter and Furniture Union, Comrade Adekunle Obolo, State Excos of OSAG and others.
