OTUNBA OGUNWUMIJU LAUDS OSEMAWE FOR HIS TRANSFORMATIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS
As part of the activities lined up for the celebration of “Odun Oba” for the year 2023, the Osemawe and Paramount ruler of Ondo kingdom, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Dr. Victor Adesimbo Ademefun Kiladejo CFR, Jilo III hosted all political appointees and elected officers in Ondo kingdom to perform a “Performance appraisal” of their achievements in line with their portfolios, over the years.
One after the other, appointees and elected officers discussed their achievements and plans for a more prosperous Ondo kingdom.
The Osemawe on his own part, as the father of all in the kingdom reeled out his own monumental achievements over the years.
The list including but not limited to, National Institute for Educational Planning And Administration (NIEPA), Federal Government master plan designs for Ore-Akure road, Lightening of Bolorunduro and its environment, Establishment of the Adeyemi Federal College of Education, among others.
This event is both innovative and historical, as never have all political and traditional ruling class come together to perform a joint performance appraisal of their activities while comparing notes to determine the path to the prosperity.
The Parliamentary Secretary and Honorable Member Ondo State House of Assembly, representing Ondo West Constituency 1, Otunba Moyinolorun Ogunwumiju (OMO) commends the Osemawe of Ondo Kingdom for this spectacular feat and prays for him to live long on the throne of his forefathers.
Dignitaries presents at the event were; Bishop Adeniran Oni the Bishop of Ondo Diocese, The Speaker Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Oladiji Olamide Landmark, Hon. Abiola Makinde , MHR representing Ondo East and West Federal Constituency, Hon. Lola Fagbemi, the Honourable Commissioner for Urban and Physical Planning, Hon. Wale Akinlosotu, Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Hon.(Dr) Jibayo Adeyeye, Chairman Ondo West Local Government, Hon. Ebenezer Akinsulire and his counterpart from Ondo East Local Government, Hon. Wale Akinkuotu, Eng. Onidare Sunday Bukunmi and other eminent sons and daughters of Ondo kingdom were in attendance.
