In a remarkable display of public service, Otunba Moyinolorun Ogunwumiju, the distinguished Parliamentary Secretary and Member of the Ondo State House of Assembly, has taken reactive measures to address the deteriorating state of the Ondo-Akure road, with a particular focus on the Akure garage area in Ondo city.
While understanding the challenges faced by motorists and commuters on this vital route, Otunba Moyinolorun Ogunwumiju in close collaboration with local community members embarked on this hands-on road rehabilitation endeavor.
More noteworthy however, is that Otunba Ogunwumiju funded this constituency project with his personal finances due to the urgency that was created as a result of the incessant accidents on those specific failed portions.
The significance of this intervention cannot be overstated, besides being accident prone if not repaired, the Ondo-Akure road serves as a lifeline for transportation of people, goods and services across the state.
