…..Says ‘Engr Favour’ is from Ijare LCDA.
The Olurese of Irese Kingdom in Ifedore local government area, HRM Oba Saka Ahmed, Ajila III, has dismissed insinuation that Hon. Temitope Ajayi, popularly known as ‘Engr Favour’ is not from Ijare Local Council Development Area (LCDA), saying he is a true son of the soil.
The monarch, while speaking with Newsmen regarding the protest that trailed his alleged emergence as the Ijare LCDA chairman, said he is eminently qualified coming from Ekamefa with unit 6 in Irese, in the Ifedore local government area of Ondo State.
Oba Ahmed said anybody that is confused about the origin of ‘Engr Favour’ should visit him and he would show such person his father’s house in the town.
“Some people said he is not from Ifedore, he is from my town his father is chief Egbedi of Irese ,so the last election we both participated and was in Irese all through ,so all those faceless people should come and Prove it.
“He is a bonafide son of Ifedore Local government and from Irese and we fell in Ijare LCDA, the new LCDA comprises of Irese, Ekamefa communities Ikota,Aaye, Araromi and many more
“So help me tell them that he is from my town and anyone that is confused should come to Irese,” he said.
The monarch said Ijare community had been the local government chairmen for decades and it is the turn of Ekamefa to become the chairman of the LCDA.
Also speaking, an APC Chieftain in the area, Hon Kunle Adu from Ijare said Engr Favour is from Ijare LCDA and eminently qualified to be the chairman.
Adu said anyone that wants to say he is not from Ijare LCDA should find out and get his/her facts right.
Another leader from Ifedore local government, Alhaji Segun Amuda ‘Ajagbemokeferi’ said favour is a bonafide son of Irese and is qualified to participate in the election.
Amuda said people should ignore such faceless sponsored people in the said report.
Also speaking, some youths of Ijare who wondered why anyone will protest the nomination of “Engr Favour” as their LCDA chairman, revealed how he has been of tremendous help to them in the community.

In response to recent accusations against the appointment of Tope Kunle Ajayi, it is important that we emphasize that these claims are baseless and unfounded. It’s disheartening to see certain members of our party questioning Tope Kunle Ajayi’s commitment and loyalty.
Where were these voices when Tope Kunle Ajayi was actively contributing to the party’s growth in the local government? His dedication was evident through his numerous contributions, both financially and in hosting party chieftains. He worked for the victory of the party candidates especially the house of assembly election, none of the blackmailers won a polling unit in Ijare zone. Pictorial evidence showcases these instances where he wholeheartedly participated in party activities.
During all those times, no one raised doubts about his party membership. It’s completely unjust to witness some individuals pushing false narratives against him now, fueled by personal agendas.
Furthermore, the idea that the party is shifting the leadership position to ensure fairness and parity is a move towards progress. The council leadership position has been held by Ijare town for years, and it’s only fair to consider a wider distribution. This should not be met with resistance or negativity.
Tope Kunle Ajayi, known as “Engr Favour,” is an exemplary son of the soil who has consistently demonstrated his dedication and capability. His track record speaks for itself, and we must not let divisive politics tarnish his reputation. Let us focus on the unity and growth of our party, setting aside personal interests for the greater good.
