OMO’BA JIMI ODIMAYO CELEBRATES AKEREDOLU’S RETURN FROM MEDICAL VACATION
The Lawmaker Representing Irele/ Okitipupa Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Omo’ba Jimi Odimayo has expressed his delight over the return of Ondo state governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN from his medical vacation.
Odimayo in a statement on Friday from his media office said the spontaneous celebrations and jubilations across the length and breadth in the state on the news of the governor’s return was a testament to the love of the people towards him.
The federal lawmaker explained that Governor Akeredolu over the years has contributed to the development of the state across major sectors in the state with his policies and projects in all the 16 Local Government Areas of the state.
The chairman House committee on Population Commission described the return of the governor from the medical vacation as a soothing balm for the citizens which he said would further boost the act of governance in the state.
According to him, “There is no doubt, the return of our dear and beloved governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu,SAN is perhaps the greatest news we received on Thursday especially considering the level of celebrations across the state on the news of his return.
“I am extremely happy that our performing and dogged governor is back to continue his good works across the state and I would like to commend the first lady, Arabinrin Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu for standing by her husband during the course of the medical leave.
“The people of Ondo state should continue in their prayers and support for the first family as they continue to offer more dividends of democracy to the people.”
