…..Urge Governor to address people’s challenges.
Members and the Executives of the Medical and Health Workers’ Union of Nigeria (MHWUN), have described as heartwarming the return of the State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, CON, from his medical vacation.
The Health Workers express confidence that the return and subsequent resumption of official duties by Governor Akeredolu will enable him to address various challenges facing the people of the state.
In a Press Statement issued by the MHWUN State Chairman, Comrade Segun Ajiboye and the State Secretary, Comrade Steve Modupe, the Union expresses happiness that the Governor’s fast recovery from his ill-health is a manifestation of spiritual intervention of God and answering of unprecedented prayers offered by the people for him.
“We have noted with joy that despite various challenges including ill-health, Governor Akeredolu has continued to overcome and the grace of God is shining in his life, hence the decision by our members and leadership to join millions of Ondo State people to celebrate your return home.
“We don’t have any doubt that the return of Governor Akeredolu and his immediate resumption to office will reignite the hope of the people of Ondo State who all showed support and prayed for him while he was on medical leave.
“We are delighted that Governor Akeredolu has commenced official duties since he returned and hereby appeal to him to look into various challenges facing the people of the state especially the health sector; even as we wish him sound health to afford him the opportunity to successfully complete his tenure while delivering his developmental agenda for the State”, MHWUN leadership said.
“Mr Governor, congratulations once again.”
