TINUBU’s PRESIDENCY: A Renewed Hope For Nigerian Youths – Engr. Bally
Engr. Ayotunde Bally, an APC stalwart in Ondo State and the Secretary of the APC PCC for Ondo Central Senatorial District in the 2023 general elections describes the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR has the long-anticipated renewed hope for the Nigerian youths.
Engr. Ayotunde Bally lauds President Bola Tinubu for walking the talks that he campaigned upon, especially for allowing the eminent Nigerian Youths to be a voice in his government through appointment to be part of the decision-making process for effective and efficient implementation of Government programmes and policies.
“It is incontrovertible that the strategies that can be deployed or adopted by the Government for sustainable development of a nation are within the potential of the youths, hence, President Bola Tinubu must be highly commended for taking into cognizance the roles of the youth in nation building and development through the appointment of the youths in his cabinet.
” Youths are the momentum that stands as a real working population in the national outputs. Without any equivocation, youths are the most existing and competent age group who have all it takes to build and rebuild the nation. “
“Over the years, Nigerian youths are only relevant and participate in the electioneering campaign systems which when it comes to governance, they take no substantive place and this has been referred to as a system of government that has completely lulled the voice of the youths in decision-making processes.
“It is conspicuous that the number of youths who have been appointed to a substantial position since 1999, especially at the federal level is abysmally poor which almost makes politics fremd to the Nigerian youths.”
“There is no gainsaying to the fact that most Nigerian youths have lost hope in becoming or having a representation as a voice at the federal level of government, due to the exasperate formation of government structure; that portrait of a nonbeliever in the capacity and competent of the youths”
“It is irrefutable that President Bola Tinubu, GCFR has renewed the lost hope of the Nigerian youths over the recent appointment made as members at the Federal Executive Council, the highest decision-making body of government in line with section 147 of the Nigerian 1999 Constitution, as amended. Nigerian youths are not lazy, they are competent; running businesses, in control of science, innovation and technology both within and outside the country.”
