PDP Governorship Aspirant, Adeolu Akinwumi, storms Akokoland, assures HOPE ALIVE for PDP Ondo State
The Frontline PDP Governorship Aspirant in Ondo State, Adeolu Akinwumi has birthed his Consultative Campaign Train (Team Óyá) in Akokoland.
The delegation which comprised prominent Party Leaders and supporters across the State, had their first stop Ikare, Akoko North East LG to meet with Party Executives and Leaders of the Party in to separate meetings.
The Party Leaders of the LG could not hide their delight with the visit which they noted was a timely initiatives which in no small measure renews their hope that better days are ahead of the Party.
The LG Chairman whom described the Governorship Aspirant as a known loyal Member who who has contributed immensely to the development of the Party in the State, saluted his courage at a time like this to bring forth his aspiration.
In his message of hope, Adeolu Akinwumi, who served as Member of the Atiku/Okowa National Campaign Council, expressed his joy over the warmth of reception accorded to him to receive his delegation.
He narrated that despite the seeming challenges confronting the Party, the Party still remains a formidable force to beat if we genuinely resolve to close ranks, reunite and position the Party for victory.
Furthermore, he reiterated that the days of taking elections with levity are over for the Party noting that our Party must be strategic in selecting its flag bearer, as he noted that we cannot afford to be insensitive to selecting a Candidate from the right and preferred region of the State.
With palpable confidence, he assured the good people of Akoko North East LG stressing that with their unwavering support for his aspiration, he will emerge at the Party Primaries to be held in April 2024 and will certainly do all that is needed to emerge victorious at the November 16th 2024 Governorship election.
In a similar way, the delegation met with the Party Local Government Executive Committee of Akoko North East LG comprising all Ward Chairmen and the interactive session witnessed frank and robust discussions on the way forward for the Party to win the forthcoming gubernatorial election.
Adeolu assured the Party Leaders that the much expected PDP Messiah has arrived in his good person and his aspiration espouses a message of Hope Alive for Ondo State PDP.
Team Óyá also paid a courtesy visit to Party Chieftain and Chairman of the Atiku/Okowa Campaign Council of Ondo State, Ambassador (Col) Roland Omowa (Rtd.) in his Country home in Oka-Akoko. The Party Leaders who could not curtail his excitement to see a son of his in whom he has been a part of his developmental cycle through life, come out with a bold and laudable aspiration to be the next Governor of Ondo State. He urged his to be more diligent and focused in view of the enormity of the task ahead and above all offered him prayers for the success of his aspiration
The tour continues to the other Local Governments in Akokoland.
