Independence Day: Hon Omowunmi Congratulates Nigerians

In the spirit of the season and in celebration of Nigeria’s Independence, the former Commissioner for Women Affairs & Social Development, Hon (Princess) Omowunmi Olatunji-Ohwovoriole has congratulated Nigerians on the 63th Independence anniversary saying in spite of all odds, the people have continued to show steadfast love one to another irrespective of tribe or ethnicity; a hallmark of the undying bound that has kept the country as one.
In a goodwill message to Nigerians, the Akure Princess called on the people to continue to live in love and harmony so that the citizenry can continue to experience peace in their endeavours even in the face of challenges that has been threatening the nation’s peace.
While also using the opportunity to charge Nigerians to look beyond the present challenges, Hon. Omowunmi said with a collective spirit, the birth of a great nation we all desire will become a reality.
Hon Omowunmi said great times are ahead, assuring further that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (PBAT) will not disappoint Nigerians as the expectations is quite high at the moment.
The statement further read:” What the nation needs the most now is peace and unity as prime components of good governance which I am certain, PBAT will provide”.
