Ijare Security: ODHASC Commissioner, Hon Idowu Adebusuyi refurbishes Police vehicle

Hon. Adebusuyi Idowu Pius,  Commissioner 1 in the Ondo State House of Assembly Service Commission (ODHASC), has refurbished a Toyota Hilux of the Divisional Police Station at Ijare in Ifedore local government area of the State.

Hon. Adebusuyi, while handing over the repaired vehicle to the Station’s DPO, said the gesture was meant to boost activities of the police in order to enhance security in the area.

The ODHASC Commissioner, who is also a former State lawmaker and former Ifedore LG Chairman, pointed out that he took the decision to repair the police vehicle having observed the rate at which policemen at the Ijare station were struggling to perform their duties as a result of lack of mobility.

The APC Chieftain expressed optimism that the gesture would spur the police to do their jobs properly in the area.

He said, “See what i have succeeded in doing, i am thinking of doing more for the police in the future, now that we are having (Ijare) LCDA, i am very sure that some of the challenges you (police at Ijare) are facing here will soon be resolved. Ijare people appreciate your work, thank you.”

Hon. Adebusuyi who described security as everybody’s responsibility, appealed to well-meaning individuals to always support the police to serve the public effectively.

Receiving the refurbished vehicle, the Divisional Police Officer in-charge of Ijare Police station, Mrs Faith Ihianle, expressed deep delight and commended Hon Adebusuyi for the support.

The DPO said, “let me on behalf of the Commissioner of Police appreciate you for all the help you have been rendering to us. If not for you, the vehicle was totally gone. All our efforts in the past for well-meaning people to help the police in the station have not yielded positive results, nobody comes to help us but you came at the right time.

“May God continue to bless you. May you continue to go higher, higher, higher in life in Jesus name.”
