Hon. Ayodeji Steve Adewole, also known as Major Dee has hailed the Deji Of Akure Kingdom, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, for adding values and embellishing cultural heritage bequeathed to him by his forebears.

Ayodeji, in a statement he personally signed on Saturday in Akure, the Ondo State capital, applauded Oba. Aladetoyinbo for using his royal wisdom to preserve and rebrand the widely celebrated annual Ulefunta festival in Akure.

Major Dee who doubles as a Chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), hailed the first class monarch on the 2023 Ulefunta Festival, describing this year event as eye-catching, historic and didactic.

“Kabiyesi, the annual Ulefunta festival has taken a unique dimension since you ascended on the throne of your ancestors. Surprisingly, the now rebranded festival is now competing with other most rated festival in Nigeria.”

“Considering the calibers of high placed individuals that have taking unfettered interest in this festival, it is apparent that your good deeds and hardwork to sustain and burnish cultural heritage have paid off. Even your ancestors are pleased with all your audacious steps”

“It is my prayers that your reign shall occasion more unprecedented development in Akure and you shall live longer than your ancestors. Happy celebration kabiyesi”, Ayodeji said.
