Akoko NE/NW Bye-election: Dr Muyiwa Olusa meets APC ward chairmen, unveils aspiration

Dr. MUYIWA OLUSA UNVEILS HIS ASPIRANTSHIP TO WARD CHAIRMEN OF AKOKO NORTH EAST

…Promises a better and more inclusive youth development programme and agenda.

CFAT Hall in Ikare Akoko was packed with the APC ward Chairmen of Akoko North East of Ondo North Federal Constituency. They congregated to deliberate the political future of Dr. Muyiwa Olusa who aspires to be a member of the Federal House of Representatives, representing Akoko North West and North East Federal constituency in the bye-election slated to hold very soon.

The legal luminary who hails from Ajowa Akoko plans amongst other blueprint agenda to give the Federal constituency a further face-lift building on the foundation laid by his predecessors especially Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo.

Dr. Muyiwa Olusa while interacting with the ward Chairmen shared his plans on Education enhancement through support to public schools himself being a product and beneficial of public education.

He also mentioned plans to set up a Tech hub in Akoko as Information and Computer Technology is too universal to be neglected in Akoko. He promised to produced a minimum of 100 Tech Guru amongst the youth in Akoko akoko youths not to be a part of.

He plans to accommodate and develop not less than100 Tech gurus within before the end of the tenure.

In his assessment of government intervention programmes, Dr. Olusa also intends to bring the govt to the grassroot by having two representative Constituency offices which Akoko indigenes can come and offer suggestions for the development of Akoko, to monitor the progress of the constituents and equally have access to meet their Federal representative.

The aspirant also noted that if elected he will improve the health centres in Akoko and give the elderly preference by issuing a social service card through which they can get free basic vital medicare.

In his quest for a better youth development Dr. Olusa plans to collaborate with his colleagues in Akoko Security and Peace Development Council to tackle the drug problem in Akoko.

In the Agriculture sector , the aspirant highlights plans to invest in agriculture in order to ensure food security in Akoko using the concept of One-Acre Fund as presently being used in Kenya.

One of the Chairmen of the wards, Rafiu Kashoki who spoke on behalf of the others lauded Dr. Muyiwa Olusa for his vision to make Akoko a better place. He and his colleagues pledged their support to the aspirant ahead of the bye-election.

Dr Muyiwa Olusa first attempted to represent Akoko North east and Akoko North west at a primary election of the All Progressives Congress in 2019.

He hopes that this second attempt will be positive and fruitful.
