Akoko NE/NW Reps bye-election: Isowopo ward-2 APC leadership expresses confidence in Dr. Muyiwa Olusa’s capacity

In his quest to emerge victorious in the upcoming bye-election for the office of the Representative of Akoko North East and North West Federal constituency. Dr Muyiwa Olusa took his campaign to Isowopo 2, where he met with some party excos at the APC Secretariat in Akunnu Akoko.


At the meeting he presented his manifesto to the elated exco members and took time to explain to them.

He noted that his 13-point agenda can be actualized without distress as they are all feasible goals. He discussed how grants could be gotten to jump-start initiatives that will bring about the development of Akoko land.


The aspirant who is passionate about Information Technology highlighted plans to accommodate and develop 100 Tech gurus as that will bring digital literacy and development to Akoko and also reduce youth unemployment.

There are also plans to provide agricultural supports for farmers and improve healthcare accessibilities.
Dr Muyiwa Olusa who holds a deep connection to Akunnu-Akoko noted that when elected, Akunnu-Akoko will be significantly improved upon as well as the other constituents.

The Akunnu APC Chairman, Mr Daodu David welcomed the idea of being represented by Dr. Muyiwa Olusa. He reminisced about how his dealings with the aspirant has always been copacetic, adding that he is the most qualified candidate in the race to fast-track the development that Isowopo 2 desires. He and other party stalwarts endorsed the aspirant wholeheartedly.

Equally, in a communique signed by Mr Kazeem Olanikanju, the All Progressives Congress(APC) Party Ward Chairman in Akoko North East Local Government and who also doubles as Chairman of all Chairmen in Akoko North East Local Government Area, maintained that Dr. Muyiwa Olusa is a vibrant and resourceful aspirant who he believes will perform like Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, the present Minister of Interior, going by his preparedness to succeed and win the election having prepared his agenda and manifesto ahead of the election already. Which means he knows what Legislation connotes and the pedigree that beckons legislative duties and what he will do when he gets into the Green Chamber to represent Akoko North East/West Federal Constituency at the National Assembly.

Dr Muyiwa Olusa’s vision is to bridge the gap between the two local governments and facilitate more government intervention programmes and foster development especially with the newly created LCDA’s across all the constituencies which will inturn harness job creation and internally generated revenue for government leading to both human and capital development across both local governments.
