Information management: I’ll operate open door policy —Ondo Gov’s SA, Omole assumes duty

Ondo Special Adviser On Information Assumes Office, Solicits Support Of Journalists, Staff Towards Galvanizing The Citizenry

The newly appointed Special Adviser to the Governor on Information and Strategy in Ondo State, Akogun Olugbenga Omole, has solicited the support of journalists in the state as well as staff of the ministry towards the overall success of the present administration.

While promising to prioritize staff welfare, the special adviser reiterated his commitment to free flow of information in the state considering the crucial election that is ahead.

Akogun Omole made the promise at his first meeting with the management and staff of the Ministry of Information and Orientation following his resumption after being sworn in.

The special Adviser was received by the Administrative Secretary, Ministry of Information and Orientation, Mrs Toyin Onisile at the secretariat complex in Akure.

He emphasized the need for information officers to keep pace with current trends in information management in order to realize the vision of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of making Ondo State great.

The former lawmaker who promised to run an inclusive and open door policy, solicited for a cordial working relationship with the staff of the Ministry

He, however, appealed to Journalists in the state to be objective in their reportage before, during and after the forthcoming election in the state.

Earlier, the Administrative Secretary, Mrs Toyin Onisile, who officially welcomed him, pledged on behalf of other staff to give the Special Adviser undivided loyalty and support to achieve the set targets of the State government.

Onisile said that both the management and staff of the Ministry are prepared to work with state’s image maker to achieve desired goals.
