GUBERNATORIAL HOPEFUL, OMO’BA JIMI ODIMAYO SHIFTS OFFICIAL DECLARATION IN TRIBUTE TO DR. PAUL AKINTELURE, SUSPENDS OTHER CAMPAIGN EVENTS
Prominent Ondo gubernatorial aspirant, Omo’ba Jimi Odimayo, has announced the postponement of his official declaration for the governorship race indefinitely.
This decision comes as a mark of respect for the late Dr Paul Akintelure, a prominent figure and APC gubernatorial aspirant in the state until his sudden death.
In a gesture of reverence for the departed leader, the lawmaker has equally suspended other campaign activities indefinitely.
The postponement according to the legislature signifies his commitment to paying tribute to Dr. Akintelure, showcasing a sense of solidarity and respect within the political landscape of Ondo State.
Omo’ba Jimi Odimayo urged his supporters to utilise the period of suspension of campaign activities to mourn Dr. Akintelure’s departure and pray for the family he left behind.
Additionally, the philanthropist has announced the suspension of his official declaration, initially planned for Thursday indefinitely. “A new date for an official declaration and resumption of campaign activities shall be communicated”, he stressed.
