EASTER MESSAGE
2024 EASTER CELEBRATION: ONDO MWHUN GREETS HEALTH & MEDICAL WORKERS, PREACHES LOVE, SACRIFICE
The Medical and Health Workers’ Union of Nigeria (MHWUN), Ondo State Chapter has felicitated its members on the occasion of the 2024 Easter Celebration.
MHWUN in an Easter Message signed by its State Chairman, Comrade (Chief) Segun Ajiboye, stresses the need for health and medical workers to continue to emulate great virtues of Jesus Christ of sacrifice, love and peace in all their dealings.
Comrade Ajiboye enjoins Christians to use Easter Celebration marking commemorating the 40 days Jesus spent fasting in the desert and enduring temptation by Satan, to reflect on the ups and downs of life.
The MHWUN Chairman also calls on “our Christian brothers and sisters all to learn from the love, humility, sacrifice and endurance displayed by Jesus Christ for the sake of mankind during his trial, humiliation and crucifixion.”
Comrade Ajiboye also appeals to Christians to continue to pray for peace and economic prosperity of the country, stressing that “spirit of Easter reminds us that with faith and patience, we can overcome all predicaments in our lives and in our land.”
