Easter: JNC Chairman, Ademola felicitates Ondo workers, urges compassion

A CALL FOR PEACE, JUSTICE, AND COMPASSION: A MESSAGE FOR EASTER AND THE FUTURE OF OUR STATE

On behalf of the leadership of the Nigeria Civil Service Union (NCSU), led by Comrade (Prince) Olapade Ademola Adeniji, and the entire membership, we extend our warmest wishes and greetings to Christians in Ondo State and around the world on this joyous occasion of Easter, celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

This feast commemorates the triumph of good over evil, and symbolizes the renewal of hope and faith.

The Union’s number one member acknowledges that, through the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ, God has redeemed humanity.

He recognizes that God not only created man, but also cares for him and provides salvation through Jesus’ death and resurrection. This feast is a time to reflect on these eternal truths, and to give thanks to God for His love and grace. We pray that this feast of Easter will be a time of spiritual renewal and joy for all who celebrate.

Comrade Ademola calls on all levels of government to follow the example of God’s love and compassion, and to prioritize the well-being and happiness of their citizens. This includes ensuring security and providing access to essential resources, such as healthcare, education, and employment opportunities.

He believes that by fulfilling these responsibilities, governments can create a more just and peaceful society for all. May this Easter Season be a time of peace and unity for all people.

As he calls on governments to do their part, he also urge citizens to remember the importance of loving and caring for one another. In the spirit of Easter, we should all strive to be more compassionate and understanding, recognizing that we are all connected and have a responsibility to each other. May this season inspire us all to be our best selves and to create a more loving and peaceful world.

The Union’s chairman reminds all citizens of the importance of respecting the democratic process and upholding the rule of law. In light of the upcoming primary and gubernatorial elections, it is crucial that we all demonstrate respect for each other and for our State by conducting ourselves in a peaceful and lawful manner.

May this Easter season serve as a reminder of the values we hold dear, and a call to uphold them in the coming months.

The chairman wishes to express gratitude to the State government for its concern for the welfare of workers, and urges them to continue to prioritize the well-being of their constituents. In particular, he calls on the State government to promptly implement the new minimum wage if and when it is announced by the federal government.

This would be a meaningful way to show appreciation for the vital work done by the State’s employees. He also encourages the State government to continue to improve working conditions and benefits for all workers.

Let us remember that the true meaning of Easter is one of hope and renewal. As we approach the coming elections, let us all strive to act with integrity and compassion, and to build a better future for our State and our country.

Let us remember the words of Martin Luther King Jr.: *Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that” May we all find the light and love within ourselves to create a more just and peaceful world.

Let us remember that ‘ Peace and Justice, Love Endures Forever – PAX ET JUSTITIA, CARITAS SEMPER VIVET.
