One of the leading aspirants ahead of the APC primary in Ondo State, Chief Olusola Oke, SAN has said that he is not scared of incumbency and deep pocket of some Aspirants in the 2024 governorship race.
Jimoh Ibrahim and Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa are among 16 APC aspirants vying to get the ticket of APC ahead of the governorship election in November.
Speaking on channels television on Friday, Oke said, “Jimoh is my very good young brother, a versatile individual with very deep pocket but I am not scared at all.
“There are many factors that would determine who will emerge. It goes beyond the depth of the pocket. I have my regards for him but when it comes to world of politics, certainly I am his leader. He can not scare me at all.
“His temporary structure may not be sustainable. I have been the one who had built surviving, tested political structures over the years. So whoever building any structure, most of them are building structures that are not sustainable at all.
“I have the strongest and most resilient structure in Ondo State today. Go to any home today, they call my name. Not Jimoh, not the incumbent (Aiyedatiwa). I have the most formidable structure in terms of spread, friends and endurance.”
