Ondo NANNM hails Ajaka’s reappointment as Health Commissioner, demands re-establishment of College of Nursing

The leadership of National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives, NANNM, Ondo State Council, has congratulated Dr. Banji Ajaka on his reappointment as the State Commissioner in charge of Health Ministry.

This is just as the Association demanded the establishment of a State-owned College of Nursing or bringing back the defunct Ondo State School of Nursing and Midwifery with a subsequent upgrade to a College of Nursing.

In a congratulatory letter dated 16th April, 2024 and signed by the Association’s State Chairman, Comrade (Nurse) Orobode Felix A, NANNM said “the leadership of National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives, Ondo State Council wishes to extend our honest felicitations on your appointment as the Honourable Commissioner in charge of Health Ministry in our dear State.

“This is a testament to your unwavering loyalty and dedication to health industry in our Sunshine State. Certainly, your exceptional leadership and topnotch professional expertise has greatly contributed to your appointment for this crucial responsibility.

“It is our strong belief that your capability and fidelity will enhance productivity and harmonious relationship among diverse professionals in the Health Ministry.

“As Nurses, we are ready to collaborate with you in other to achieve your goal for the Ministry, as well as the agenda of Mr Governor for the good people of Ondo State.

“While congratulating you Sir, we equally appeal for an establishment of a State-owned College of Nursing or bringing back the defunct Ondo State School of Nursing and Midwifery with a subsequent upgrade to a College. Wishing you a successful tenure in office Congratulations Sir,” Comrade Orobode said.
