Aiyedatiwa’s Victory at APC Primary: Divine Providence – Hon. Omowunmi Olatunji

The former State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Hon. Princess Omowunmi Olatunji has attributed Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa’s victory at the All Progressive Congress (APC) polls to divine providence.
In a congratulatory message singed and made public by Hon. Omowunmi, she said though the Governor has been performing remarkably well since assumption into office and have been delivering on promises outlined in clear terms, she said his readiness to continue in that path of progress for the state gave him the needed goodwill with the people.
Hon. Omowunmi who said she was not surprised by the outcome of the primaries, further attributed it to God’s doing just as she described the Governor as a man of destiny.
According to her, Govenor Aiyedatiwa is greatly loved by the people which explains why most of his campaign tour saw massive turnout of both party members and the people, rallying and showing support across the 18 local government areas.
The Akure Princess while especially congratulating Mr. Govenor on the well deserved victory, applauded the party’s leadership for making the voice of the people to count.
She also used the opportunity to thank members of the party in her local Government for turning out in droves to cast their votes in favor of Governor Aiyedatiwa.
In an appeal to those who lost out during the primary election, Hon. Omowunmi admonished them to sheathe their swords and support the party’s flag bearer to win the general election scheduled for November, 2024.
