APC Primary: Aiyedatiwa’s victory good for Democracy —Ologbese

A Chieftain of All Progressives Congress APC in Ondo State, Otunba Dele Ologbese has described the emergence of the incumbent Governor, Hon.Lucky Aiyedatiwa in Saturday’s Primary election as victory for democracy, justice and fair play.

Ologbese added that it’s statement of fact that Aiyedatiwa is the most qualified and acceptable among other fifteen aspirants with distinct blueprints aimed at transforming the State into a land flowing with with milk and honey

“It’s true that all party’s aspirants are qualified, but only one out of them must be chosen, and since teeming party’s men and women have given their mandates to Governor Ayedatiwa to contest the November 16, 2024 Governorship election, we enjoin all and sundry to rally round him to win the election.”

The Coordinator of Advocacy for Good Governance in a chat with newsmen said the Governor has proved beyond all reasonable doubts that he’s right leader with vast knowledge and experience who can change State’s socioeconomic narratives for the best.

He showered praises on members of All Progressives Congress across the Eighteen Local Governments for ensuring the landslide victory of Mr Governor in Saturday’s Primary Elections

He said :”Members of APC in Ondo State are extremely lucky in casting their votes to a credible, well tested and trusted technocrat who has demonstrated rare passion, dexterity and strong determinations in taking the State to higher grounds in all spheres of equitable developments”.

“The Governor in all honesty has demonstrated to all good people of the State he’s the right person with right acumen that can doggedly tackle poverty and penury among the largest numbers of the citizenry within the shortest time possible.”

“For the record, it should be noted that in his 100 days in office, Governor
Aiyedatiwa has initiated policies and programmes geared towards taking the State to higher grounds of unprecedented developments by rejigging the bureaucracy and given it lifeline. He had paid gratuities, while pensions are paid as at when due.

“He has started fixing dilapidated roads and other infrastructures across the three Senatorial Districts. He has repositioned the educational sector through rehabilitation of dilapidated schools infrastructures and prompt payments of teachers salaries and other allowances in the tertiary institutions in particular.”

“It’s highly pleasing to note that being a thoroughbred football technocrat his administration is considering building an Olympic size stadium complex in the State’s capital, Akure. He has promised to revitalize moribund industries in the State. Health Care delivery services is receiving great attention while agriculture sector will be transformed. Indeed, under his watch Ondo State will witness massive transformations.”

“The primary election has come and gone and it’s time for aspirants who lost out in the contest to forget the past, close ranks and work in unison with the eventual winner so that APC can reenact its winning streaks in November 2024 general election in Ondo State.”

“I have no doubts in my mind that this is a family contest in which only one aspirant is bound to be nominated and since one of them have won the contest through a fair and transparent electoral process, I enjoin all other aspirants to join hands Governor Aiyedatiwa so that APC wins forthcoming governorship election hands down,” he said.
