ONDO APC PRIMARY ELECTION ‐AIYEDATIWA’S VICTORY : A REFLECTION OF PEOPLE’S WISH – SSANIP, RUFUS GIWA POLYTECHNIC,OWO CHAPTER.

The Senior Staff Association of Nigeria Polytechnics (SSANIP) Rufus Giwa Polytechnic Owo chapter has congratulated the Governor of Ondo-state and Visitor to our institution ,His Excellency Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on his victory in the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election held on Saturday, 20th April, 2024.

The victory of Mr. Governor did not come to us as a surprise because since his emergence as substantive Governor of the state on 27th December, 2023 he has initiated people – oriented policies aimed at galvanizing mass participation of the good people of Ondo state in his administration.

The Rufus Giwa Polytechnic Owo has been a direct beneficiary of the magnanimity of Mr. Governor through the increased in monthly subvention to the Polytechnic, prompt payment of workers’ Salary as and when due and the payment of 3 months out of the outstanding salary arrears owed to the workers of the Polytechnic by his predecessor.

Hence, the outcome of the Saturday’s primary election has shown that he is a populist and a reflection of the confidence reposed in his administration.

Our union appreciated the good deeds of our Visitor and felicitate with him on this historical feat and pray for his resounding victory at the poll in the November, 2023 Ondo State gubernatorial election.

SSANIP implore Mr. Governor to extend his hands of friendship and brotherhood to the other contestants while we also expect them to reciprocate this in building Ondo -State. What is important to us is peace, unity and progress of Ondo state.

Once again, we say congratulations to His Excellency Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on this noble achievement
