A Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye has warmly congratulated Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa on his victory in the APC governorship primary election.
The election was held on Saturday, April 20, 2024 in all the 203 political wards of Ondo State ; in which Governor Aiyedatiwa defeated other fifteen aspirants by recording a tate wide and overwhelming victory.
Adefisoye, who is popularly known as Small Alhaji described the victory of Aiyedatiwa as a victory for all APC members in Ondo State.
He also described the victory of Aiyedatiwa as well deserved due to his appealing style of leadership, outstanding record of performance, unmatched popularity and intimidating acceptability across the Sunshine State.
Small Alhaji further added that the victory of Aiyedatiwa was well anticipated as rightly predicted in the article he authored two days to the conduct of the primary election.
He however, assured that the victory of Aiyedatiwa in the primary election had already signalled the retention of power by the APC in Ondo State as the November general election would only be a mere formality.
Adefisoye also appreciated the Governor Ododo led Committee and all APC members that turned out in their large number for the election in the 18 local government areas of the state. He particularly thanked APC members in Idanre Local Government Area of the Sunshine State.
Meanwhile, Adefisoye has appealed to the other fifteen aspirants to close ranks with Governor Aiyedatiwa in a bid to ensure that the long overdue transformative development of Ondo State would become a reality.
The former federal lawmaker further appealed to the other fifteen aspirants in the APC gubernatorial primary election to prioritize the party’s interest and allow the overall interest of Ondo State to override the interest of individuals.
