OLUGBO OF UGBO, OBA (DR) AKINRUNTAN CONGRATULATES APC CANDIDATE, AIYEDATIWA
Commends APC National Leadership, Aspirants
The paramount ruler and prescribed authority of Ugbo kingdom, Oba (Dr) F.E.O Akinruntan (Okoro Ajiga 1) speaking through his Press Secretary has congratulated Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa on his emergence as Gubernatorial Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Ondo State.
Gov. Aiyedatiwa who was declared the winner of Saturday election by the Governorship Primary Election Committee under the chairmanship of His Excellency, Governor Usman Ododo, the Governor of Kogi State polled highest number of votes of 48, 569 amongst other progressives Aspirants.
The Olugbo of Ugbo Land described the Saturday victory of Gov. Aiyedatiwa as a destined victory. Oba Akinruntan noted continuous collaboration between Ondo State Government and traditional institution to enhance peace and unity within the State.
Oba Akinruntan commended all Aspirants of the All Progressives Congress, APC and particularly, Ilaje Local Government for sportsmanship displayed, implored them to support Gov. Aiyedatiwa gubernatorial bid.
Olugbo also hailed the Ganduje-led National Leadership of the All Progressives Congress through the chairman of the election committee, Gov. Usman Ododo for a peaceful and violence-free primary.
