AIYEDATIWA’S VICTORY, A FINAL FULFILMENT OF AKETI’S WISH

I say hearty congratulations to the Governor of Ondo state, His Excellency Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on his success at the just concluded All Progressives Congress (APC), party primaries.
The massive turnout of party faithfuls to vote and assert their choice in his person which translated to an unassailable lead with 48,569 votes is a testament of the love, confidence and desire of the people, aching for good governance.
I recall sometime ago during the administration of our late governor Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu SAN CON, whereby he voiced his desire to have HE Lucky Aiyedatiwa succeed him as governor of Ondo state during a particular occasion of the state executive council meeting, Aketi responded assertively to a heated discussion on a project saying “Lucky will continue wherever I stop”.
Such vote of confidence was voiced by our departed leader on several other occasions including the viral video of the inauguration of Aketis second term. Truly, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu was a man who saw tomorrow.
Finally, this desire was fulfilled by Ondo state people with the victory of HE Lucky Aiyedatiwa who emerged as the party flagbearer on the 20th of April, 2024. Truly, victory belongs to the most persevering and he shall again triumph in the forthcoming gubernatorial elections.
I hereby congratulate Mr Governor, All Progressives Congress (APC) family and the entire state on this feat while appealing to other aspirants to accept please the arm of reconciliation so that Ondo state APC can remain as one big family.
