Youth leaders across the eighteen Local Government Areas of Ondo state have congratulated Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa on his emergence as the flag-bearer of the All Progressives Congress for the November 16 Governorship Election in the state.
In a statement signed by the State Youth Leader, Adeyemo Olalekan, and made available to newsmen in Akure on Monday, the youth leaders urged all aggrieved aspirants in the keenly contested primary election to see this victory as a victory for all APC members
Olalekan also implored Governor Aiyedatiwa to have a robust relationship with the party structure to emerge victorious in the November 16 Governorship election.
The statement said ” I congratulate Mr Governor Hon. lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa APC gubernatorial candidate ondo state. I pray God will give you wisdom and power to pilot our state to an enviable height. To whom much is given is expected. As party leader and candidate of the party.
“As we all know there is nothing to share in zero. Primary election has come and gone but whatever grievances that might have been generated through the process of the primary election will be addressed appropriately by the party.
“Party structure must be carried along for smooth running of election campaign activities and adequate funding of the party to encourage members unflinching support for the party”.
The statement noted that youths leaders across the 203 wards are ready to mobilize massively for the party candidate’s victory in the election and very soon all political programmes cum campaign activities will be rolled out
