Aiyedatiwa’s SA on Transport, Akogun Olugbenga Omole Cancels Birthday Celebration to Honour slain LACO ward Coordinator, Alaba Abe

GOV. AIYEDATIWA’s SA ON TRANSPORTATION, AKOGUN OLUGBENGA OMOLE CANCELS BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION TO HONOUR ASSASSINATED LACO-FS COORDINATOR AT SUPARE-AKOKO, LATE ALABA ABE

Akogun Olugbenga Omole, the Special Adviser to the Ondo State Governor on Transportation has cancelled all activities lined up for the celebration of his Birthday slated for Today 30th April, 2024.

According to him, the cancellation is to honour the Ward Coordinator of Lucky Aiyedatiwa Campaign Organisation Foot Soldiers Independent Council (LACO-FSIC) at Supare in Akoko Southwest Local Government area of the State, Mr. Alaba Abe, aka Excel, who was gruesomely murdered at his residence in the town over the weekend.

Akogun Omole, who is also from the local government, described the incident as disheartening, wicked and unacceptable, noting that he is devastated with the sudden demise of the slain APC chieftain like other party’s leaders in the area.

“I am canceling my birthday celebration on April 30, 2024 due to honour the memory of Alaba Abe murdered at Supare Akoko. He was until his untimely death our Lucky Aiyedatiwa Campaign Organisation Foot Soldiers Independent Council (LACO-FSIC).

“Therefore, all preparations towards the Birthday which not only to celebrate my Birthday but the victory of my Principal, Mr Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan at the just concluded All Progressives Congress, APC governorship Primary, are hereby totally cancelled to give honour and respect to the murdered party’s Member from my local government area.”

“However, my Greatest Birthday Gift this year is Governor Aiyedatiwa’s victory at APC gubernatorial primary.”

“I join other well-meaning Nigerians to appeal to the Police and other security authorities to fish out those who killed Alaba Abe and to ensure such unacceptable act never recurred in the State,” Hon. Omole, a former State lawmaker pleaded.
