WORKERS’ DAY: ONDO SPEAKER CHARGES PUBLIC SERVANTS ON EFFICIENT SERVICE DELIVERY
AS workers in Ondo State joined their counterparts across Nigeria to celebrate this year’s workers’ day, the Speaker of Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon (Chief) Olamide Oladiji has admonished them to continue to be alive to their responsibilities in order to achieve a common goal.
This was contained in a statement made available to pressmen today in Akure, the State capital.
Oladiji,who described workers as the engine room of government that translate policies and agendas for the overall development of the State at all spheres, charged them to always put in their best for quality and efficient service delivery at all times.
While stressing the importance of excellence performance of duty, the Speaker urged them to utilize the various initiative programmes of the present administration in Ondo State which include: Ondo Service Improvement Programme (OSIP), Public Service Training Institute for capacity building among others.
Oladiji, who used the occasion to laud the Governor of Ondo State, Hon.Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa for giving priority to the welfare of workers, assured that no stone would be left unturned to put smiles on their faces .
