COMRADE BOLA TAIWO’S APPOINTMENT: ROUND PEG IN A ROUND HOLE —Ondo NLC appreciates Gov. Lucky Aiyedatiwa
The leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Ondo State Council, has expressed delight over the appointment of the immediate past State President of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Comrade Bola Taiwo as the Special Adviser on Union matters to Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.
In a Press Statement signed by the State Chairman of NLC, Comrade Victor Oladele Amoko and the state Secretary, Comrade Akin Sunday, the Congress described the choice of Comrade Bola Taiwo as a round peg in a round hole and the labour Congress is pleased with it.
The Congress congratulates the new SA for a well-deserved appointment, considering his track records in public sector.
The Statement reads, “Considering Comrade Bola Taiwo’s deep experience in public administration and labour movement over the years, there is no doubt that Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has appointed a Competent, popular and quintessential labour leader as his Special Adviser on Union Matters.
“We hereby on behalf of the entire workforce especially the SAC and SEC of the NLC in Ondo State express our sincere appreciation to Mr Governor, Hon Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for appointing one of our highly competent and reliable Veteran Labour Leaders in the state as his Special Adviser in charge of labour issues.
“We want to assure Mr Governor of our total support to his administration while expressing our belief in the ability of Comrade Bola Taiwo to represent labour movement very effectively in the present administration.”
