Subject: Ifedore Community Youth Leaders Stand Behind Barr. Tope Komolafe as True Representative
The Community Youth Leaders of Ifedore Local Government Area hereby issue this statement in response to the recent press release by Engr. Dr. Oladimeji Ojurayo DMJ.
We stand united in our support for the Honorable Barr. Tope Komolafe, the duly elected representative of Ifedore local government area in the Ondo State House of Assembly. Barr. Komolafe carries the collective voice of all our communities, and we affirm his natural mandate to speak on our behalf.
The recent meeting of certain elders with Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa does not reflect the consensus of Ifedore over 30 communities. Their unilateral action cannot and should not be misconstrued as the voice of our diverse and vibrant local government area.
We categorically support Barr. Komolafe’s statements and reject the claims made by Engr. Dr. Oladimeji Ojurayo DMJ in his press statement dated May 11, 2024. His views are disconnected from the true issues and political landscape of Ifedore Local Government Area.
We urge all stakeholders to recognize the authority of our elected officials and to engage in constructive dialogue that prioritizes the well-being of our communities. The advancement of Ifedore LGA should be a collaborative effort, respecting the roles and contributions of each community in our local government.
In conclusion, we reiterate our vote of confidence in Barr. Tope Komolafe and his representation of Ifedore LGA. We stand firm in our commitment to the truth and to the progress of our communities.
