Association Of Medical Laboratory Scientists Of Nigeria on 17th of May, 2024, honoured one of its dedicated members, LUKMAN ADEMOLA ADEPOJU with AMLSN DIAGNOSTIC MERIT AWARD.
This special edition of the award took place on the 17th of May, 2024 at the Ecumenical Conference Centre in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, during the 18th Annual Public Health Lecture/NEC meeting of the Association.
The theme for this year’s lecture is “Mitigating Intractable Diseases Outbreak Through Strengthened Medical Laboratory Services.”
The Association during her Annual National Conferences/Annual General Meetings (AGM) and National Public Health Lecture series/ National Executive Council (NEC) meetings do identify and award well deserving members both within the country and in the diaspora.
Dr Adedire Adeyinka, the National Secretary, AMLSN, said, “On behalf of the National President, members of the National Executive Council and all members of the Association, I present to you with enthusiasm the Association’s National Diagnostic Merit Award.
“You were carefully selected after a series of scrutiny using various factors such as performances in job, professional development and contributions through medical diagnostic researches.
“Your endorsement for this award is therefore not unconnected with your dynamism in perspective and outstanding performances as evident in your innovative research ideas, capacity strengthening of human resources for health and exceptional achievements in your choosing career.
“With delight, the Association celebrates your achievements in the field of preventive and diagnostic medicine with delight and congratulates you on this well deserved award.”
Reacting to the honour, Lukman Ademola Adepoju appreciated the National President, members of the National Executive Council and all members of the Association, for finding him worthy of the award, promising that the honour will spur him to do more for humanity.
