One of the suspected kidnappers of travellers on Ikare- Irun Akoko -Ado Ekiti highway in Ondo state, has been arrested by combined efforts of Irun Akoko Community’s vigilantes and hunters and handed over the Army.
According to a resident of Irun, the suspect which was first brought to the Palace of Onirun of Irun Akoko after his arrest in the forest, has been transferred to the Army office in Ikare Akoko for further action.
NHFSS Ondo State Command Nabs Kidnapper, Hands Over to Army
The Nigeria Hunters and Forest Security Service, NHFSS, Ondo State Command has apprehended one kidnapper called Ade on Sunday 26th May, 2024 at Akoko North West Local Government area of Ondo State.
According to our impeccable source, the group of kidnappers kidnapped Ondo State citizens along Irun-Imesi road in Akoko North West Local Government area of Ondo State around 4p.m precisely on Saturday 25th May, 2024.
Immediately, Nigeria Hunters and Forest Security Service, NHFSS heard of the kidnap, they quickly swung into action together with some community hunters and the team were able to apprehend one of the kidnappers as others flee with their victims.
As Nigeria Hunters and Forest Security Service, NHFSS Officers are seriously after the kidnappers at large, the apprehended one was handed over to Army by the Ondo State Commander, Amb. Emmanuel Adedayo having hearken to the advice of His Royal Majesty, Oba Samuel Agboola Akulojuorun 2nd, the Onirun of Irun, Akoko North West Local Government area of Ondo State.
