Today we honor the innocence and curiosity, of children and the joy they bring to our lives even as we demonstrate our commitment to the well-being, growth, and empowerment of future generations.
As we celebrate these precious gifts, it is importance to re-emphasize the role of parents and society in protecting children’s rights, ensuring their safety, and providing access to quality education, healthcare, and opportunities.
We must see the need the provide proper care, nutrition, and education to help children grow and develop into capable citizens as well as intensify the advocacy for parents, and guardians to spend quality time with their children, to strengthen the bond.
We must on this day be reminded that children are the future leaders, innovators, and citizens of this country, deserving investment and support and must bring to the fore issues that confront and limit children in the society. Some of which are; Child labor, abuse, and neglect, and must intensify efforts towards addressing these issues.
As a governorship candidate, I am committed to creating a brighter future for our children especially in our dear Ondo State, where they can thrive, grow, and reach their full potential. Our children deserve access to quality education, healthcare, and opportunities that will help them succeed.
We must be prepared to put our hands on the plough and work together to build a state where our children can feel safe, supported, and equipped to dream big. We must all invest in their future and create a world where they can grow up to be anything they want to be.
