DAF CELEBRATES THIS YEAR’S CHILDREN’S DAY WITH FUNFAIR AND INAUGURATES A PLAYGROUND
***Ondo Speaker, Rt. Hon. Oladiji and Hon. Wale Akinlosotu commended Barr. Daramola for giving back to society
This year’s Children’s Day will forever remain indelible in the hearts of pupils and the management of St. Peter’s Ang. Pry. School, Bolorunduro in Ondo East Local Government with the generous donation of a playground to the school by the Founder of Daramola Adesuyi Foundation (DAF), Barr. Daramola Adesuyi.
According to the Founder, the gesture is to create an enabling learning environment where pupils can engage in physical activities that would complement their academic activities, fostering both their physical and cognitive development.
The deliberate donation of the playground, according to DAF’s founder, was borne out of the core implementation of the organization’s mission to enhance the educational experiences of pupils to underscore the provision of necessary resources to support a well-rounded educational experience in Ondo East Local Government communities.
Beyond its recreational identity of the facility, the donor sees the well-equipped playground as an essential machine capable of providing the holistic locomotive development for children as well as promotion of physical fitness which underscores the enhancement of social skills, creativity, and overall well-being.
During monday’s well attended event, the distinguished Ondo State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Olamide Adesanmi Oladiji (Landmark) and the Honourable Ondo state Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Hon. Wale Akinlosotu who were represented by Comrade Akintayo Akinjolie (JOLIE) Mr Speaker’s SA on Youths Affairs and Mobilization, as well as Hon. Adeoye Adeniyi (Former Secretary to Ondo East Local Government) respectively, commended Barr. Daramola for giving back to the society.
In their remarks on the brilliant steps taken by Barr. Daramola to contribute to a more enjoyable and enriching learning experience for the pupils, the respected political leaders in Ondo Kingdom APC equally eulogised the youth ambassador for supporting the educational development of Ondo East Local Government.
Earlier in his speech which was read at the event, Barr. Daramola appreciated Rt. Hon. Oladiji and Hon. Akinlosotu for distinguishing themselves in leadership modeling and offering themselves as rallying point mentors to youths in politics and societal development advocates through their quintessential leadership characters.
The DAF founder also defined their leadership experience in Ondo Kingdom as what prompted his vigour of doings to visualize his imprints of impactful achievements so far through Daramola Adesuyi Foundation (DAF) in Ondo Kingdom.
According to him, the donation of a playground to the school is deliberate which is aimed at helping the pupils to achieve their full potential in academics. The event also featured games, dance competitions, spelling Bee, winning of prizes and many more.
Some of the dignitaries in attendance were Hon Commissioner for Education ably represented by Ondo East Education Secretary, Mrs Adebusoye, Dr Akinnifesi, frontal ally of Hon. Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Mrs Adeyemi, NUT Chairman, Mr Akinnawo J. A, Welfare Chairman to Rt. Hon. Olamide Oladiji Landmark, Otunba Akintayo Abayomi Akinrinmade (Triple A), Ondo Ekimogun Youth Congress executives, led by their president, Engr. Kayode Folajogun, Hon. Bolofinde Titus (Senator), DAF team members and a host of others too numerous to mention.
