Owa-Ale celebrates Special Children’s Day Party in Ikare, launches ‘Oba Adeleke Adedoyin Foundation’

The Owa-Ale of Ikare Akoko in Ondo State, Oba Adeleke Adedoyin II, has hosted children from the community to special annual 2024 Children’s Day Celebration held at his Palace yesterday.

The event was attended by the First Class monarch and his High Chiefs.

Owa-Ale used the opportunity to announced the establishment of “OBA ADELEKE ADEDOYIN FOUNDATION”.

Oba Adeleke unveils his academic foundation christained “Oba Adeleke Adedoyin foundation” while celebrating the children’s day in his kingdom today being 27th May 2024.

The reputable first class Monarch Oba Adeleke Adedoyin II, the Owa-Ale of Ikare-Akoko while addressing the press during the children’s day ceremony, briefed the people about his foundation under way.

The children’s celebration that was organized in the king’s palace at the ancient city of Ikare-Akoko witnessed a large crowd of people from every nook and cranny of the kingdom.

The Kabiyesi while delivering his key note on the occasion, advised parents to invest in their children’s education.According to the king failure of parents to do so will eventually be met with untold consequences.

In furtherance, the king called on governments at all levels to contribute their quota to children’s education.In order not to leave the fight for quality education to government alone, Kabiyesi announced his foundation which will commence fully by next year.

The foundation which is called Oba Adeleke Adedoyin foundation will be centered on children’s education and skills acquisitions specifically for the indigents in the society.

According to Oba Adeleke,the only way to develop a community is through children’s investment in education and skills which will be the focus of the said foundation.

Finally,the first class Monarch released his blessings on the children,the kingdom, His Excellency Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa, president Bola Tinubu the president of the Federal of Nigeria.

As the king took his leave from the events, celebration was still at it’s peak as there was enough for refreshments as the children dance and chant praises in excitement to the Oba.
