The Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC) has appointed its first female Administrative Secretary since its creation in 2001.
She is Princess Abike Bayo-Ilawole.
OSOPADEC was established by an Act of the Ondo State House of Assembly in 2001 to intervene in the development of the oil producing and impacted areas of Ondo State.
Princess Abike Justina Bayo Ilawole was born on the 22nd June,1975 in Akodi Olubo of Obe-Nla, Ilaje Local Government Area Council of Ondo State.
Untill her present position as the Secretary of the Commission, Princess Abike was the first Administrative Officer of OSOPADEC and she later served as the Head of Personnel and Contract Administration Division, Deputy Director of Finance and Administration of OSOPADEC between 2002 to 2010.
She also worked as Director of Personnel Management, Ondo State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), Deputy Director of Finance and Administration , Ondo State Ministry of Environment, Akure, Deputy Director of Finance and Administration; Ondo State Ministry of Community Development and Cooperative Services, Akure

The OSOPADEC Secretary holds Master of Technology in Project Management (M.Tech) from Federal University of Technology Akure.
