Owoseni emerges Agbajowo Timber Association Chairman In Idanre

A new chairman has been appointed for the Agbajowo Timber and Flitcher Association in Idanre Local Government Area of Ondo State ; in the person of Mr. Tope Owoseni, who is popularly known as ‘State’.

Owoseni was appointed on Tuesday at the Sabo Secretariat of the Association in Idanre by concerned leaders and members of the entity. He is to serve as an interim chairman of the association for the time being.

Tope Owoseni is a successful Idanre based timeber marchant, and also a pioneer member of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ala ward of Idanre.

In his remark after the inauguration, Owoseni thanked members and leaders of the Association for the confidence reposee in him.

He however promised to work with the immediate past chairman to ensure smooth running of the association. He also promised to do all within his abilities to ensure the growth of the association and improved welfare of members.

Owoseni equally enjoned the immediate past chairman to submit all the association properties in his custody. He added that this was necessary to ensure smooth running of the association.

While reacting, Mr Sholay Akinsohun said that the inauguration of Tope Owoseni had marked the beginning of a new dawn for the Agbajowo Timber and Flitcher Association in Idanre.

Leaders of the association that attended the inauguration include Mr.Segun Akintububo A.K.A Arena, Mrs. Moyereola Adeoye, Mr. Akinsohun Sholay, and Mr. Omogbemi Akinmolayan A. K. A Pioneer.

Others in also in attendance were
Mr. Akinniranye Gbenga. Franklin Awote, Ala Route Chairman; Mr. Omoloye Johnson A. K. A Seeto e, and Mr. Afolabi Adekolurejo.

Meanwhile, the peaceful inauguration was observed by the operatives of the Department of State Service (DISS) and the men of Amotekun Corps in Idanre Local Government Area.
