The minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo has celebrated the appointment of Femi Adekanmbi as the Project Coordinator for the Hydrocarbon Pollution Remediation Project (HYPREP).
In a congratulatory note by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Babatunde Alao, the Minister described the appointment as a timely decision by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Adekanmbi’s appointment was announced in a statement signed by the Presidential Media aide, Ajuri Ngelale on Saturday.
“I congratulate my brother, Femi Adekambi on this new assignment. I trust him to deliver as he has done with previous assignments as the appointment is a demonstration of the trust and confidence reposed in him to lead this critical project by our leader and President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“This appointment is coming at a time the world is currently finding solutions to environmental degradation. Considering the expertise and experience of Honourable Femi Adekambi, we can be sure the HYPREP project will be effectively executed.”
