The Convener of Ondo State Football Stakeholders Forum, Otunba Dele Ologbese has charged the newly inaugurated board of Ondo State Football Agency, ODSFA to swiftly address mass exit of quality players from Sunshine Stars and Sunshine Queens.
He said: With pedigrees or antecedents of five technocrats appointed into the Board of ODSFA, one is fully convinced that the sector will witness massive transformations within the shortest time possible
The pioneer Secretary of ODSFA, while congratulating the Board Chairman, Hon Bamidele Ologunloluwa who was immidiate past Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, added that the Agency must be properly reengineered towards making it achieved high level of professionalism
The former Vice Chairman of Ondo State Football Association gives kudos to Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for heeding to clarion calls of stakeholders in constituting the ODSFA board.
He described Governor’s decision to constitute the board as a right step in the right direction or best way of taking football to greater heights in the State
According to President of Ologbese Global Sports Management, it would be counterproductive if managements of our football are left in hands of people who lacked professional expertise
The resignation of Sunshine Stars Technical Consultant, Ambassador Henry Abiodun few days ago attests to truism that incompetents were managing the club before now which didn’t give room for efficiency
Ambassador Henry Abiodun had posted on his facebook page that “I have stepped down from my position as the Technical Consultant of Sunshine Stars FC on Monday evening.”
“It is a difficult decision. However, it is not easy working in an unprofessional environment. Stay blessed”.
Ologbese said Ondo State Football Agency and all other sports outfits must be managed professionally towards attainments of optimal results
“I charged the newly inaugurated board to run the agency professionally as this is the only way maximum results can be achieved. I’m very happy that the appointees are credible technocrats who would no doubt bring their respective expertise or wealth of experiences to bear on the organisation distinctively.”
“I wish the new Executive Chairman and board members goodluck in managing football affairs in Ondo State”, he concluded.
