Protest: Let’s give Tinubu more time —APC youth leader ‘Paff’ begs Nigerians

COMRADE LAWAL KOLADE PAFF, THE APC Southwest Zonal Youth Leader, APPEALS PASSIONATELY TO NIGERIAN YOUTHS TO SHUN THE PROPOSED PROTEST IN THE INTEREST OF PROGRESS AND TRANQUILITY.

Comrade Lawal Kolade Paff, the APC Southwest zonal youth leader, has made a passionate appeal to Nigerian youths, particularly those in the Southwest, to refrain from participating in the proposed protest.

He urged them to give President Bola Ahmed Tinubu time to implement his economic and other developmental policies.

According to Comrade Paff, President Tinubu has prioritized the interests of young people and has made significant progress in achieving his goals.

Some of the achievements highlighted by Comrade Paff include the disbursement of non-interest student loans to support the education of young people, the consumer credit scheme that provides credit facilities to support small and medium-scale businesses, and the conditional grant scheme that provides cash support to start-up businesses.

Other achievements mentioned include the tax-free food importation window to address food scarcity, the creation of the Ministry of Livestock to address herders and farmers’ crisis, and the approval of a new minimum wage of N70,000 with a reduced negotiation period.

Additionally, Comrade Paff mentioned the access to over 5 billion naira support grant with SMEDAN to aid small businesses, the formation of the youth Advisory council to empower the youth in business and governance, and the government’s distribution of palliatives to mitigate the effects of hunger.

Drawing upon the recent experience of the END SARS protest and the damage caused, particularly in Lagos State, Comrade Paff strongly appeals to intending protesters to abandon their plans. He emphasizes that the affected governments will take many years to recover from the aftermath of the protest.

Signed:

Comr. Lawal Kolade Paff
APC Southwest Youth Leader.
